University of Akron sophomore midfielder Darlington Nagbe recently earned four honors his seven point-performance in a Zips 5-1 win at Michigan this Tuesday.

Nagbe scored three goals and had an assist to lead UA over Michigan. His seven points for the match are the most recorded by a UA player since the 2002 season.

Nagbe was named to National Teams of the Week by College Soccer News, Top Drawer Soccer and Soccer America and was tabbed the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week.

Nagbe became the fifth UA player to be named MAC Player of the Week this season, joining sophomore forward Teal Bunbury (twice), freshman goalkeeper David Meves and sophomore midfielder Michael Nanchoff.

The Zips, ranked No. 1 in the country in all five national polls, have a 15-0-0 record and will host Penn State tonight at 7:30 p.m.
