To Shemp, lucky schools like Akron and Kent don`t play in the Horizon League. They would be middle of the pack in the Horizon League. The MAC will recover in a year or two. With the pathetic-ness of so many MAC schools, and the complete disinterest by Akron fans in playing 3 directional Michigan schools, etc...has anyone considered that the HORIZON LEAGUE might actually be "superior" to the MAC?
