Freshman forward Andrew Parrish has left the team with plans to transfer to the University of Indianapolis, a Division II school.

His scholarship will shift to Darryl Roberts, who will have two years remaining in the program.

Parrish redshirted last season. He was touted as a tall, athletic player with a big wingspan. With a glut of youth in the frontcourt, Parrish probably saw a limited opportunity to play.

I wish him well at Indy. I thought he would have been able to get some playing time, but I guess that wasn't the case. Oh well, D-Rob finally gets his scholarship.

I'm surprised to learn that Roberts has two years left with us. Good deal, he's a player. And glad he gets his scholarship back.

Between football, then basketball, then soccer…this should be a HUGE year for UA sports. That new A.D. will think he landed in Oz or something.
