Ok. You have to understand that during a practice the QBs run roughly 70+ plays, along with 50 or so passes to WRs, TEs, and RBs. We are looking at somewhere around 100 passes for Jacq and Matt Rogers. Throwing a few pics during this is not too bad right now. It is still the beginning of camp and the first these guys have seen the everyone on a field at the same time. You also have to be at practice to see the kind of INTs that happened. A few of these hit the receivers hands making it not so much the QBs falut. There is a lot to take into consideration. Is five or so INTs bad, yes. But under these circumstances it is ok. If it is happening a few weeks from now then you have some concern.

My Question: "CJ11 threw a bunch of INT's in the spring game, and they seem to be coming in bunches now. Is that a trend, or a pattern?"

Mike,

Nice job interviewing. It's great to see Akron actually getting video coverage of anything.

A question you should ask JD or the offensive coaches: Wouldn't it be wise to create an offense based around our current talent distribution, rather than one that obviously doesn't work with the players we have? Maybe a Flexbone (wishbone-spread hybrid) offense like Navy.

I'm sure you can find a more tactful way to ask that.

Also, see what you can find out if any RBs will be willing to switch positions, since we have so much depth there, and we are thin at the WR and DB spots.

Rasor, keep it up, this is the kind of stuff we need to get people excited about the program.

I see your point, DSmith.

But with Akron's talent distribution, I'd like to see them go the other way -- maybe even a wishbone to get the RBs more opportunities.

The spread offense involves 3, 4, and even 5-receiver sets. I'm guessing that is why JD is try to get so many receiver's involved in a rotation Mike.

Oh, I'm praising the DBlaze stuff. I think i still have that photo of you two with the Red's helmet on my other phone.

DK as Vince Russo? So you're saying we should expect some lame angle for the next film?

SWEEEEET! Keep the videos coming!

One question. JD said some of the interceptions were from poor route running, but he wants to use 8 WR's?! That seems like quite a conundrum there. He should pick 5 and get them A LOT of reps w/ our QBs!

Talent wise, aside from QB, we're a Big Ten caliber program. But, man, I'd rather watch Malone College's backup QB out there than sit through another season of the QB play we witnessed last year.
