I agree wins and losses aren't going to amount to anything.Rest some guys and give some others some meaningful floor time. We've proven the young talent is as good as any in the league, but winning the tournament is the only thing that will get us to postseason. We could run the table, lose in the tournament and it'll be the same as last year.

We're more banged up than I can recall in a long time. This seasons game is going to be more about a marathon march into March than showing how much we can rack up W's

Wood has really struggled his last couple of games and looks like he really needs some time off to allow his knees and legs to recover. With Barto now showing some signs that he can contribute some meaningful minutes and a bad E Michigan on our court Saturday, it might be a good time to let Jerimiah sit this one out so that he is fresh for the W Mich game next week.

Here is your inside info. Kashif Payne never bet on any games. His personal reason is personal, as he wants to keep it. Being a very good friend and with him often, I can give you a hint, this is more about the University of Toledo trying to cover its ass. Nothing more.

Blogs are more like radio talk shows than newspapers. You have to go off on tangents to keep it interesting. It's ridiculous to analogize that to making jokes in front of a judge. Come on. That's ridiculous.

Hey, now. Rasor's great. This is the nature of a blog. Rasor would never write that if it were going to be published in the printed edition of the ABJ. And he's not serious, it's just humor. With the blog format anyone, anywhere, not matter how unqualified, can chime in and give their 2 cents worth – and often what they provide is worth less than 2 cents. Especially my occassional entries! It's what makes a blog fun. Blogs are as much about entertainment as they are about journalism; they're akin to the Colbert Report of print media. I couldn't agree with Toledo guy more. I am a huge Zips fan and attend every game. But time and again your blogs deal with items other than sports. Last week you went after Eric Thomas of Kent even though he hasn't played there in years. Then yesterday's you go after Kashif Payne for no reason at all. How about sticking to sports. I am a lawyer too and if you finish law school and become a lawyer Rasor you will find judges telling you the same thing if you make statements that have nothing to do with the matters at hand. You want to talk sports – fine; if you want to engage in gossip and innuendos go somehwere else.

What a POOR act ok journalism commenting on Kashif Payne and implying he "bet on games". I suggest you actually know what your talking about before opening your mouth or pressing your fingers to a keyboard dude. How LAME of an ASS are you. Knowing Kashif very well personally and the situation as is, maybe you blame the university trying to cover its ass before putting blame on Kashif.

Haven't seen the stats, but Dials played his usual scrappy game at both ends. His play enables the other guys to step up and shine. Linhart played all 40 minutes tonight and stepped up, especially when things looked bleak in the first half.

Hopefully the slump is over. Toledo scored 9 points in the second half
