As we all know, the Zips offense depends on its running attack. The ABJ’s David Lee Morgan says that’s the key to beating Toledo today.
Toledo, too, has seen a surge in rushing production. Three Rocket running backs share the job.
- The Zips are a 3.5-point favorite.
- Danny Sheridan says 4.5 points is a better spread.

I believe the Zips offense will play similarly to last week. Without a passing game, Toledo shouldn’t put up many points. I’m fairly confident Akron will win comfortably. Akron 20, Toledo 10.

Win comfortably!? They have won 1 conference game! They have yet to consistently win against the MAC traditional powers…Toledo,BG Miami etc.
Shoot they can’t beat Central.

Seriously, we have a cigarette company throwing passes now? The running back doesn’t play all season until tonight, then lobs an interception? Has Mo Carthon found a new play-calling gig, or what?
So now the Zips have lost to a 2-6 team. Anyone got solutions? Once again, I don’t really care if this coaching staff stays or goes. Major disappointment this season.

Sorry, ESPN may have had a false recap of the game & box score. They said it was Phillip Morris who threw the INT…but it was just Getsy. Again. Man, is sucks to lose.

DEAREST: ‘Lee Adams is a jackass’. Yes even my friends think I am sometimes. Of course I respect their opinions because their IQ’s are significantly larger than their hat sizes. Obviously your hat is very small.
When you grow up son, I am assuming you have t…….s, you will(no, may)(no, well its a lost cause) learn that even a challenged observer like yourself can learn the finer points of watching a football game…like the scoreboard! Toledo-35 Zips-20.
