Akron received a commitment from the No. 13 player in Ohio, reports Ray Mernagh of Hoopfactor.com.
Ronnie Steward is a 5-foot-10 point guard from Columbus. Marshall, Western Carolina and Wright State also offered him a scholarship. Other schools of interest included Stanford, Minnesota, Clemson, Holy Cross and Kent State.
Scout.com gives Steward two stars but very little other information.
Mernagh writes that this will complete Keith Dambrot's 2007 class, which also includes stud center Steve Swiech and guard/forward Brett McKnight.
