Some props for the Zips

Previewing the Browns highlights on SportsCenter, Scott Van Pelt said: "Don't you know about the power of Charlie Frye and the Akron Zips?"
It didn't seem like he was being facetious, either.
Frye threw and scrambled well, but his fourth-quarter interception opened the door for a Ravens 15-14 win.

… not that the blind-side hit thanks to the terrible o-line had anything to do with the interception or anything. I'm just glad Charlie was still standing at that point in the game.

Agreed…our offensive linemen should feel embarrassed to show their faces in the huddle. Game after game, they've given Charlie no protection. Despite that, we've seen glimpses of his talents UA fans all know he possesses. Hopefully after yesterday's game, the team will realize "We are NOT a power-run team" (BALTIMORE is a power-run team, folks…did you see the way Lewis dragged defenders?? wow).
No, the Browns need to use their BEST weapons, which they began to do vs. Ravens: their receiving corps. Work on getting them into open-field situations & make plays, Cribbs included! The run-game for this team is ATROCIOUS. Give it up, Carthon.
