<description>UM's list must not be THAT short if it includes a guy who's what?, 13-13, as a head coach at lowly UA and loses games he never should (see Cent. Mich.). Or would the rabid Hurricane fans prefer Butch Davis, who has already led them to a Natl. Title and is rumored to be ready to return? There's one to really ponder. NOT.

JD needs to set down some roots right here and build his own dynasty/legacy, which will include opening a new stadium, competing for MAC titles and going to Bowl games regularly. Why is every college coach always ready to pick up and move? Take a lesson from Rutgers' hiring of Gary Waters, who flopped there. Or Stan Heath going to Arkansas and flopping. One good season with particular talent does not mean the coach can recruit or utilize his own talent in other situations. Build continuity here, and the rewards will come.
