So the professional oddsmakers had the opening line for this game at a 3.5 point spread and now it’s down to a 2.5/3 point spread.
However, the collective predictions from the Zips brethren (listed below) say it won’t be nearly that close.
36-7 Akron
27-14 Akron
28-14 Akron
26-20 Akron
According to one of these prognosticators, Zips defensive lineman Nate Robinson has cannibalistic tendencies.
RE: Speaking about Kent State RB Eugene Jarvis
“What’s he gonna do when he comes up against Nate Robinson, who’s 5′-5″ WIDE ? Nothing !
He’s gonna get the ball, try to run it up the middle, or otherwise he’s gonna be eaten.”

Keep this in mind…
Professional oddsmakers haven’t seen every Zips game (and two KSU games).
Hyperbole is our second nature.

I once saw big Nate chew through a 6 foot tall guy and his date at a movie theater when they cut infront of him at the snack line.

Yes Mike, the oddsmakers don’t know anything. They don’t ever watch the games; they just look at the final scores and guess.
Hope you enjoyed the game. It was special.
