Akron will try to prove its great performance at the West Virginia Classic was no fluke at the Rhode Island Invitational this weekend.

The competition will include undefeated Pittsburgh, winless Northeastern and 1-2 Rhode Island.

Beating Pitt would certainly make me sold on this young team's potential.
