Medina’s Ally Peters commits to UAB for volleyball

Medina outside hitter Ally Peters has reportedly made an oral commitment to play volleyball at Alabama-Birmingham, according to Cleveland.com. Peters also reportedly considered Marist, Miami University, East Carolina, Texas State and Gardner-Webb, according to Cleveland.com. She averaged 4.9 kills and 2.2 digs last season, according to the report.

Orrville trio make college selections

January 31, 2011

Orrville seniors Zach Wasson, Hillary Plybon and Sara Aultz will each be signing a National of Letter of Intent to play collegiate sports Wednesday, Red Riders Athletic Director Kent Smith said. Wasson will play men’s basketball at Malone. Plybon and Aultz will play women’s volleyball at Austin Peay and Edinboro, respectively.
