Report: Miller orally commits to Buckeyes

Canton McKinley junior defensive Steve Miller has reportedly made an oral commitment to play football at Ohio State, according to JJHuddle.com
Miller, who is 6-4 and 235 pounds, also had offers from Florida, Michigan State and Purdue. He had 116 tackles as a sophomore.

Black Tiger football team hits the big three

Meyer excelling at Ohio State

Ohio State freshman Julian Meyer, a Revere graduate, is putting together a solid first season in Columbus.
Meyer placed fifth overall in the Buckeyes first place finish in the Mountaineer Open in Boone, NC. He placed sixth in the All-Ohio Championships in Delaware, Ohio. The Buckeyes also won that event.

Practice can officially begin Oct. 30 for area girls’ basketball teams. Boys’ basketball teams are allowed to practice on Nov. 6.
The first girls’ basketball games will be Nov. 27. The first boys’ basketball games are Dec. 4.
