District brackets set for girls tennis

The high school girls tennis season continues this week with district competition.
The Division I district tournament at Oberlin College features two singles players and one doubles unit from the area. Firestone’s Christine Coffman and Jackson’s Trisha Conlan are top seeds in singles, and Revere’s Natalie Robson and Brittany Miller are a top doubles tandem.

Reminders of 911 were at Jackson-Hudson game

The eighth anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001 were in evidence Friday night prior to the Hudson at Jackson football game.

Jackson releases coaching candidates

Timken one win from state final four

The Canton Timken boys basketball team will play Toledo Whtimer tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Rhodes Arena in a Division I regional championship game at the University of Akron.
