Revere football coach Terry Cistone will be stepping down from his position as head football coach at the end of the football season.
Cistone cited a willingness to spend more time with his family as a main reason for his departure.
“This decision is one that is best for my family and also for the football program (at Revere),” Cistone said in an E-mail.
The Minutemen are currently 2-2 in the Suburban league and 4-3 overall. They will play Green at home tomorrow evening.

Coach Cistone is a great guy and a great coach. Tough loss for Revere. Best of luck to him in the future.
Coach Cistone will be a hard man to replace.I dont think you could find a more selfless individual on or off the field!!Im happy for coach Cistone and his family but am sorry to know that many future football players will not have the opportunity to learn the game from a more dedicated caring leader.Terry will be missed!!!
