Louisville football update

Louisville coach Paul Farrah said in an e-mail this morning that he expects senior Bobby Swigert could return to the team by the postseason if the Leopards get there.

Several media reports, including the Canton Repository and Alliance Review reported recently that Swigert suffered a foot injury earlier in the season. Swigert is one of the nation’s top college recruits in the 2010 class.

Louisville (5-0) plays at West Branch this week. Farrah said his defense must play well and the Leopards need to win the kicking game.

“They have a good running (back) and are very big up front,” Farrah said. “We will have to spread the ball to our wide receivers to have a chance to score.”
