North football coach Kenneth Johnson and his Vikings team can’t wait until Friday. Kenmore coach Tom McKinnon and his squad feel the same way.

The two teams will face each other in the opener of City Series play but even more notable is the fact that the two teams will be the first City teams to play at the University of Akron’s magnificent InfoCision Stadium.

“The kids are excited and I am, too,” said Johnson, whose team is 2-2, with wins against Coventry and Cuyahoga Falls. “They are ready to get in there and play.”

The Vikings are led by wide receiver and cornerback Rayshawn Stephenson and quarterback and linebacker Ken Johnson.
