Walsh Jesuit senior-to-be linebacker/running back Cameron Ontko has reportedly made an oral commitment to play at the University of Wisconsin , according to a report on Rivals.com this afternoon.
Ontko, who is 6 feet and 215 pounds, also had offers from Georgia Tech, Eastern Michigan, Indiana and Bowling Green .
Walsh Jesuit coach Gerry Rardin said in an e-mail this week that the Badgers seemed to be Ontko’s favorite. Rardin indicated earlier this week that Ontko would decide soon.
Ontko is expected to be a significant part of the Walsh offense and defense this upcoming season. He is projected to be an outside linebacker/strong safety in college.
