CVCA senior Mark O’Brien has committed to play basketball career at Houghton College.

The 6-1 point guard led CVCA to a 21-4 record as a senior, which tied for the best record in school history.

CVCA was ranked 10th in the state in Division III. CVCA won district championships in each of his final two seasons, as well as a berth in the Sweet 16 of the state tournament each year.

O’Brien also picked up numerous postseason individual honors during his high school career. He was named first team PAC-7 as a junior and senior, as well as earning an honorable mention all-district selection both years.
