Orrville senior-to-be MLB Chase Hoobler (6-3, 225) has been offered by Boston College, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
Hoobler also reportedly has offers from Louisville, Indiana and several MAC schools.

Ontko could decide this summer

Walsh Jesuit senior-to-be RB-DB Cameron Ontko (6-0, 215) has five scholarship offers as of this morning. He has offers from Georgia Tech, Wisconsin, Indiana, Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green.
There could be more offers on the way for Ontko, one of the state’s top players in the 2010 class.

Swigert also reportedly has offers from Boston College, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Colorado, Toledo, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Akron, Miami (Ohio), Ball State, Kent State and Bowling Green.

Softball commitments

Tiffin University’s softball program has added two area commitments from the 2009 class.
 
Hudson’s Alyssa Brown and Norwayne’s Lesy Herbert have both committed to the program.
 
Brown helped lead Hudson to the Division I state finals. She hit .334 with a .556 slugging percentage.
