I am a graduate from Garfield where I played football. This Gulley kid is the total package. On and off the field. On the field he has great vision, fantastic footwork, exceptional speed, and most of all HEART! You rarely see him come off the field. He plays offense, defense and most of all the special teams.
There are some things off the field many people don’t talk about this kid. He sings in his church’s Youth choir, and on all his saturdays off he trains at 6:30 in the morning with his brother Toneo (also at Garfiled) and his cousin Taneka (starting point guard for Hoban girls basketball). The three of them along with their older cousin (Garrick Twitty-fromerly of Garfield) have formed their own training group (TFC-Training For Christ) where they work to perfect their skills, discuss their faith and also discuss how sports transcends into life.
