Hoban will play archrival St. Vincent-St. Mary in the first high school football game at the new University of Akron’s InfoCision Stadium on Friday, Sept. 18, according to a report this morning from AkronNewsNow.com.
The report said the game will be at 7 p.m. The game has traditionally been played at the Rubber Bowl, which was the longtime home of the Zips.
The University of Akron opens the stadium against Morgan State on Sept. 12.
