Callaghan steps down at Copley

Greenlee signs with Walsh

Green senior Chad Greenlee has signed with Walsh University for lacrosse. Greenlee is the first player to commit to the school for lacrosse.   Walsh will start its lacrosse program next year, led by head coach Ron Meiser.

SVSM senior Harrison commits

April 28, 2009

St. Vincent-St. Mary senior forward Daylen Harrison has reportedly signed a letter of intent with Wyoming, according to a report from the Plain Dealer. Harrison helped lead the Irish to the Division II state title this past season. He also reportedly considered Air Force, Butler, Ball State, Columbia and Cornell.

Louisville junior WR Bobby Swigert (6-1, 175) has reportedly been offered by Central Michigan, according to ScoutingOhio.com. The Web site said he also has offers from Cincinnati, Toledo, Miami (Ohio), Ball State, Kent State, Bowling Green, Pittsburgh, Indiana and Akron.

Zips offer junior cornerback

Akron has offered Middletown junior CB Jerry Gates (5-10, 180), according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. It is the first offer for Gates, who had three interceptions for the Middies last season. Middletown is between Cincinnati and Dayton.
