Coaches and ADs

We will continue to publish summaries and roundups each night. We need the assistance of fall sports coaches and athletic directors in getting the information to us each night. We take scores by phone at 330-996-3800, by email at bjsports@thebeaconjournal.com and by fax at 330-996-3629. Another service is available for football and soccer coaches, too. It is called Scorefeeder.com and it is a local company that takes the info online and submits it to us in a format we can use to publish it.

Athletes of week

Will return next week in Ready, Set, Play. Athletic directors and coaches need to submit their athletes of the week nominations by noon each Monday. Send those nominations with the player’s name, sport, reason for nomination and a color head-and-shoulders shot to bjsports@thebeaconjournal.com.
