Posted October 8th, 2007 by Nate Ulrich
We’re now through Week 7 of the 2007 high school football season.
What teams have surprised you so far?
Field is 7-0.
St. Vincent-St. Mary is 7-0.
Stow is 6-1.
Those are just some of the teams that come to mind when I think about the topic.
Tell me about your selection and if you think that team can keep it up.

Firestone has been doing some hard work. Considering they had not won a game in year just two years ago, I’d say Flossie is doing something right! Congratulations on bring a group of boys together that didn’t have a strong background in football to such a great height in such a short time!!! Good luck with the rest of the season.

I agree. Firestone (5-2, 4-0) has had a very impressive season and appears to be on its way to winning the City Series title.

The biggest surprise of this season is that Beaven hasn’t been promoted as Terry Pluto’s replacement.
