Five area softball teams headed to state

Five softball teams from the Beacon Journal’s five-county coverage area have won regional titles and advanced to the state final four in their respective divisions.

Here are the teams:

Division I—Hudson

Division II—Archbishop Hoban

Division III—Fairless and Hillsdale

Division IV—Dalton

    Archbishop certainly can make it 10 in a row, if they execute and follow-through. Power offense seems to work, use it more, Yoak and Roop geat blockers, could help Masters and get him out of shotgun, where mistakes have happened. Hoban has heart and the guts!
