Hafner’s status still up in air

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.: One day before the end of Travis Hafner’s rehabilitation assignment at Columbus, Indians officials weren’t certain what to expect from their designated hitter.

Balky shoulder puts Hafner on DL

Travis Hafner’s surgically repaired right shoulder has again become an issue for the Indians.
Wednesday afternoon, Hafner was placed on the 15-day disabled list and will visit Birmingham, Ala., orthopedist James Andrews, probably on Monday.
