Mike Sarbaugh, the Aeroes manager, has done a heck of a job wherever he has managed. At Akron this year, he lead the team to the league championship. He deserves strong consideration.

Orel Hersheiser!

The Bowling Green alumnus would actually have some emotional "skin in the game" to push the right buttons. He's sharp as a tack, too.

Shapiro is a hack! He should have been gone long before Wedge; if not with him. Why he is still there is, apparently, way beyond me. He dumps talent and frees up revenue..er, profit.

Okay, now I know why he is there.

I would LOVE to see Mattingly come manage in CLE. He was a working-man's b-baller. I gotta believe he would run the show the same way.

I am from AKR, so I apologize for the pun, but......bring in "THE DON!"

It's scary to think that Mark Shapiro will be involved in this decision. He should be fired the same as Wedge so the Indians can finally be on the road to recovery. He set this team back at least five years by not getting anyone in the Cliff Lee deal that will help this team at the major league level. The best decision would be to get Don Mattingly in here to turn this franchise around. He won't ruin any player's career the way Wedge ruined Josh Barfield, Andy Marte, Ryan Garko, and plenty of others. Bring on Don Mattingly!

Has a "winning" attitude ever been mentioned? Just because we are rebuilding doesn't mean the attitude can't be about winning. Losing should simply not be acceptable to management. If you're going to teach , then teach winning not losing. Go with a winner like Mattingly or Valentine.
