The Cleveland Indians announced today the signing of second round draft pick Jason Kipnis.
Kipnis, an out fielder, was the PAC-1o conference Player of the Year and a second time All conference first team performer. The 63rd overall pick in the draft batted .384 with 21 doubles, four triples, 16 home runs and 71 RBI in 63 games last season.
The Indians have now signed 26 of their 50 selections, including 19 of the first 20 picks.
