One win, one loss, one win, two losses….we’re losing ground or treading water.
Funny, I sense URGENCY in the Front Office for the FIRST TIME since Shapiro has been here. The fact that they’d have Hector Rondon pitching in relief at AA Akron tells me they are absolutely DESPERATE and will pull out all the stops. Too bad Shapiro was DESPERATE enough in 2005 or 2007 when the team needed moves badly. What we got was an AWFUL 2006 and 2008. Think he realizes a repeat of 2008 now, where the team is out of the race by Memorial Day, won’t go over big with the owner or fans?
Shapiro and Wedge have been too complacent and lenient and patient for too long. The veterans on the team underperform, the rookies are overrated…where do ya go from there?
Rondon and Huff will be in Cleveland before you know it.
And call me crazy, but this is the Adam Miller effect. They were counting on him so heavily over the past few seasons, his complete collapse is having a trickle-down effect from top to bottom.
