It looks like Royals pitcher Brian Bannister will affect this series after all.
The Royals recalled Bannister from Triple A Omaha today, according to the Kansas City Star. Bannister will start Wednesday’s game instead of Horacio Ramirez. Ramirez will remain in the bullpen though.

Oh crap. The Royals recalled a starting pitcher? Guess that means the Tribe will have to re-arrange its rotation so that OUR recalled pitcher, Aaron Laffey, is facing him, huh? Isn’t that the way the illogical baseball logic works?
