Last heard in Washington: "I'd like to buy a vowel."

Looking at the pitching matchups makes me chuckle every time someone makes an excuse for Cliff Lee, saying "Well, he's our #1 guy now, so he's always facing the opponent's ACE."

Uh, really? How'z that work, exactly? Don't teams keep their pitchers on strict regimens, and if the two #1's just *happen* to be matched against each other, it's a coincidence...certainly not coordinated. The only time that theory is tried and true is on Opening Day. So, please Tribe and apologists, stop propigating that nonsense.

Oh man, that sounds like a tall task. Especially since the pitcher, Jordan Zimmermann, adds that extra "N" on the end. Third baseman Ryan Zimmerman flies his ""N" solo. I smell a sequel to the uniform issues.

Wonder if Washington was able to get "Zimmerman" on two jerseys for their pitcher and 3B with that last name?

Good to see Dellucci & Barfield back in the swing of things.
