Typical Shapiro. An inability to see the pitching depth right under his nose, and thinks that ANYONE, EVERYONE else out there who's available *must be* better than what we have. Will he never learn from his mistakes (Jason Johnson) or from the Twins' yearly example of getting quality young arms into the rotation, instead of wasting away on the farm?? We're overloaded now, and what happens when Westbrook's ready to return?

Get off the pitching rollercoaster, Mark, and start looking for a power hitter who can drive in some runs. You might also start pondering how you're going to play Sizemore, Choo, Francisco, Brantley, LaPorta and Crowe at the same time next year, unless you decide to let those ML-ready players rot at AAA along with the pitchers you've made no room for.
