As ManRam’s world turns

by Jonas Fortune on February 3, 2009

there was some new news on the Manny Ramirez front today. The Dodgers offered Ramirez a one-year deal for $25 million.

Not surprisingly, ManRam quickly turned it down.

The LA Times say the Dodgers aren’t done pursuing ManRam just yet.

Hooray for more weeks of absolutely nothing happening with ManRam!

Let the greedy quitter and his moronic agent sit out the year without a paycheck. Then we’ll see who has the upper hand in negotiations. Until teams determine among themselves that they will no longer be held hostage by idiots like MR and Boras, the game and its increasingly-poor fanbase will suffer. Time for a reality check.

Maybe those two greedy bozos Ramirez and Boras should climb back under their rock or find a deep hole for the next baseball season…With the situation of the economy right now maybe being a little quiet about the millions of dollars
to be had for sports people would go a long way…
