While doing a little websurfing this morning I came across this list of players who are without options this season. For any of these players to return to the minor leagues, they must clear waivers first.
The List was compiled by MLBtraderumors.com, then blatantly stolen by me to post for all your enjoyment.
On a side note, if you don’t know about MLBtraderumors.com i suggest you click the link. They do an amazing job of compiling all the MLB player news across the league.

Jonas,
Thanks for the list. Just as I was about to say that we should keep our eyes on Rich Hill as he has a ton of talent, but struggled for the Cubs last season, and appeared to fall out of favor, spending most of the season in AAA, it looks like he’s been traded to the Orioles for a PTBN. So, so much for that.
Most of the guys listed who would appear to have big league talent should be locks to make their respective 25 man rosters, but if I’m Marl Shapiro there are two names on the list I’d watch very closely…..Melky Cabrera and Jeff Niemann.
