We were all very concerned, George. One week is an extraordinarily long time to remain unconscious passed out on the floor of a fraternity house bathroom. With all the cost-cutting the insurance companies are doing these days, I thought somebody might have pulled the plug.

Jeez, that musta been one helluva roofie. That was October 6. Nearly a week later, and George still ain't conscious. Wow. Has his wife even noticed that George hasn't come home yet? And what's even worse, I still don't know the final score of the game. Two days later, larry was kind enough to write the Bucks pulled away after halftime, but larry was speaking in mere generalities.

The Bucks pulled away and George passed out. Good thing they assigned him an intern from Akron U. and the game story was completed on time.

By the way, rumor has it that the unpaid intern was actually given the position because he has Prius, which is very good on gas.

Maybe Tressel thought the team was running well enough to get the two yards on fourth down. Then, Tressel again thought the team was running well enough that they could get a couple ten yard runs that might even turn into longer gains with Purdue in a prevent-type alignment. It wouldn't have surprised me if that had happened.

It's hard to complain with the Bucks. Tressel's odd sometimes but it's been a pretty amazing rebuild after last year's losses, personnel wise. I have a feeling this team suits him better though it remains to be seen what the QB can do in a real tight situation.

George, why doesn't Brandon Saine get more playing time. It seems like he plays less and less since the first game.
