I mean, that was just a dumb, dumb comment. The problem with that museum is it's a music/pop music/entertainer hall of fame, not a rock hall of fame, per se. Nobody will ever accuse Madonna of being a rocker, but there she is, in the Rock Hall of Fame. The same way that plenty of other folks will make it in there who have no business being in there. Bottom line, as a general rule, if hardcore groupies, sex, drugs and vomit are backstage and in the tour bus, then it's rock. Especially vomit. Neil Diamond, for example, has been a great entertainer for a long, long time. But he has no business being inducted in a rock hall of fame, but he definitely will be. And that's the problem.
