Regarding Chris Singletary, Ray Mernagh of MACreportonline.com writes: "He's a dirty player." The same site named Brett McKnight of Akron the MAC Sixth Man of the Year, and Jordan Mincy of Kent State the Defensive Player of the Year.

Singletary suspended for one game

Good for Kent State. The school announced it had suspended Chris Singletary for the first game of the MAC Tournament.
