I fully expect the Raiders to sign Ken Dorsey in time to start against the Browns.
Now that Jake Locker has said he will return to the Washington Huskies next year, I no longer want the Browns to take a QB with their first pick. I guess I'm going to be stuck with cheering for The Not-So-Mighty Quinn.
Guess I'll be happy with Ndamukong Suh, Eric Berry or Russell Okung.
Chaz is a nice guy, but so obviously is in over-his-head in the NFL. All that scrambling around the field (like Tarkenton of old) might've won some games in college, but NFL defenses are much quicker and the poor guy–who can't make a good decision to save his life–is just overmatched.
He's better than Jamarcus Russell, though. (And can we all stop talking about the need for a "rocket arm?" Russell has an "arm," but is a mental midget. Remember, THIS is the guy Phil Savage wanted here in Cleveland, and practically cried when he couldn't draft him. THAT should tell you all you need to know about Savage. He drafted Frye and WOULD'VE drafted Russsell.)
Marc,
A rocket arm and the ability to read defenses don't have to be exclusive attributes.
