This is an excerpt from an ESPN.com article:

"Stafford's jersey from Sunday was sent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. And the play might live on in league lore for years because Stafford was wired for sound by NFL Films during the game, making him one of 350-plus players who have done that since 1965. NFL Films president Steve Sabol called it the "most dramatic player wiring ever."

I just saw the clip on NFL Network. Amazing stuff. Here is the 6 1/2 minutes of Matt Stafford mic'd up for NFL films. Make sure to watch the last 2 1/2 minutes when Stafford is injured and screaming in pain laying on the ground. They show the interference penalty filmed by NFL Films from the back line of the end zone showing the obvious call.

http://xr.com/735l

It gives you a real sense of how players are willing to sacrifice their bodies and play in pain. Funny how teammates and coaches are hugging him and slapping his bad arm after the TD throw when he had to be thinking "don't touch my shoulder!".

NFL.com hasn't posted the "Week 11 Official Review" that they just showed on Total Access, but Mike Pereira, VP of NFL Officiating, explained the controversial (but correct) calls in the Brown's game concerning the 4th time out, Stafford returning to the game after being injured and the interference call.

The only reason 10 seconds weren't run off the clock in the case of the 4th time out was because time had run out and the clock was at 0:00. But, the game cannot end on a defensive penalty.

Gotta get back to watching the NFL Replay of the Brown's game on NFL Network - I'm a glutton for punishment.

I'm very thankful for turkeys - even Alan.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
