Rick, I just pointed out that the article didn't give us any info about what Hood meant, and that because of this, it was disappointing. I wasn't defending Mangini (I even said maybe Hood meant that Mangini was an ahole). What I wrote about the Jets players after he left was just fact, not an opinion. Many came to his defense, some slammed him. As far as the schedule goes, you can't even compare Cini to us. We have a new coach, OC and DC and have turned over about half the roster. Yes, Cinci was not good last year and that was only b/c Carson Palmer missed the whole season. They did not fire their coach, change the offensive and defensive systems or turn over half their roster. If we would have kept the old regime of Romeo and Phil, I'm sure that we'd be much better at this point. I'm thinking 3-5 or 4-4. But, we didn't, so we just have to roll with what we have. I also said I don't care one way or another anymore whether or not Mangini is fired after the season, must have been another point that you missed. I just hope we finally pick a regime and stick with it, and do it soon, because we'll never be any good by firing the coach and/or GM every 1-3 years. Tell me a team that does this and is successful?
