He acts like he is still in total control. He tells everynoe that no matter what happens, he meant for it to be that way. He is in arrogant denial. He's almost certainly done at the end of the season but he carries on like everything that happens is "part of the process." As for Lerner, I'm sure he told Mangini that he would be "included" in the same way that a parent tells a child who asks to go to Disneyworld, "we'll see."
