Blog break

by Pat McManamon on October 30, 2009

Driving to Chicago today. My kind of town, cheeseburger cheesburger … all that kind of stuff. No coke, Pepsi!

End result: The blog may be dark for part of today.

Enjoy the city, as you sure as heckfire won't enjoy the game…oh, there is a beer festival going on this weekend.

And, enjoy this column by Ross Tucker from SI.com. Doesn't really apply to the Browns owner, as far as we know. The Browns just can't evaluate talent.

May I suggest a couple of my favorite watering holes? You'll probably need one given your unenviable task of covering that train wreck of a football team.

O'Callaghan's, in River North: http://www.ocallaghanspub.com/
Kelly's, in Lincoln Park: http://www.kellyspub.com/

Oh, and don't forget to grab some deep dish at Bacino's…..
