One thing is for sure....the Brown's pick for Braylon will never become a 2nd rounder because there is no way he catches 55 passes with the J-E-T-S. 55 drops...definitely!

The reason Clowney had done nothing before the last few weeks is because he wasn't on the field. He's replacing an injured Cotchery.

The fact that they are double or triple covered doesn't seem to prevent great receivers like Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Randy Moss and Reggie Wayne from being in the top 10 in receptions. Braylon is tied for 66th. The great Kenny Britt of the awful Titans has more receptions than Brickhands Braylon. Of course if Braylon caught everything thrown to him, he would probably be among the leaders also....that's the difference between him and a good receiver.

Dude, you really oughta make up your mind. First you're me, and then three minutes later, you posted as Romeo Crennel. Seriously, take a stand. Who are you? If I were you, I'd choose Romeo. He's a lot more cuddly than I am. A big brown teddy bear.

And what's the deal with your "mom's basement" fetish? First, you say I'm in my mom's basement, which is not possible, since my mom's old folks home does not have a basement. Then you say that Pat is typing away in his mom's basement, which I believe is not possible for the same reason. Can't you reference something that is above ground-level?

Whoops, my mistake ... even further proving my point. Clowney also had four catches against Miami for 72 yards, in Edwards' first game. Today Clowney had four catches for 79 yards.

I hope Lerner's new Hungarian spy is able to catch Mangini mocking Lerner's bright white legs, or something. Soon. Louie Anderson has to go.

Brian D., seriously, do you ever use the good sense God gave you? This Clowney guy had one lousy reception all last season! All season! And ya know the four passes he caught today, at an average of 18 yards per catch? They're the only four he's had all season! Before today? Zippo. And you think Edwards had nothing to do with this? Why do you think the Browns' semi-stiff rookie from the University of Georgia was able to catch some balls before Edwards was given away in exchange for that Rammstein boxset that terje previously pictured in these parts? Because they had about 36 guys covering Edwards! That's right, I said 36. Including the visitors' bench. So the semi-stiff was wide open. A Boston Terrier could have caught a ball with Edwards drawing all the attention. Or at least bounced the ball off his nose, which is what the semi-stiff from the University of Georgia has actually done a few times.

THAT is what a guy like Edwards can do. Just the mere threat is a huge advantage, he doesn't have to catch a thing.

For Christ's sake, they got some new guy at tight end who was working at Jiffy Lube just last week, and he had the second most catches on the team! I forget his name, I just remember it sounds like a venereal disease. This is progress? And the sad thing is, he's probably better than Robert Royal. But not quite as good as Kellen Winslow, do ya think?

try contrasting that 4 receptions for 79 yards with every other game clowney has played. the guy would have been a ghost without edwards on the field.
