Besides, I've got two kids with the flu and I've got to go to Pittsburgh, so I'm in a bit of a hurry …

And I don't care if Alan doesn't like him.

alan t. October 17, 2009 at 4:02 pm: Nothing to do with John Hiatt or the intrepid columnist's musical tastes, but nobody can accuse Braylon Edwards of not having a dead-on sense of humor. He's right on all three counts. From his Twitter account, which Mangini wouldn't let him use:

"I would appreciate it if disgruntled Cleveland fans would stop sending messages. Fact of the matter is I'm a jet now. Go tweet Josh Cribbs"
