I like having as many players as possible on high scoring teams…Houston is 8th in points scored and slaton is their top RB.

I've been the Commish of my FF League for 25 years. I drafted Moss in the first round, so I'm hoping he starts putting up some big numbers, but in your case I would make the deal. Buckhalter is hurt and Parker, coming off an injury, may have lost his starting job to Mendenhall. You need RB's in a bad way and you are strong at the WR position. I'm assuming that TE's are considered WR's in your league as well since you list Gonzalez with your other WR's. I think it's a no brainer for you.

If you don't believe me, here is an on-line trade analyzer's opinion (I'm assuming it's a 12 team league)…

I would probably do it. Slaton has a favorable schedule with games against the NFC West and soon D's will have to focus more on Houston's passing which will open it up for him. As a fellow Moss owner, I'm very concerned with Brady’s ability to hang in the pocket and wait for the long Moss routes to develop. Welker and Watson underneath seems to be the only thing Brady is comfortable throwing. I do not see Moss turning it around in the second half.

Two questions though, who is your new starting WR if you trade Moss and are you in a points per reception league? PPR gives Slaton a nice bonus.

Both Slaton and Moss are under-valued right now. Overall, I'd take Slaton, but Moss should have a break out second half of the season. Guess it depends on your other receivers/rbs.

hard to tell without seeing your whole team. who else u got at wr? id say on paper thats a fair trade if you are desperate at rb. but u dont wanna shortchange yourself…

Bill … I countered Moss for Cedric Benson, which I thought was pretty fair though at the moment Benson clearly is doing more, and he laughed and said no way. I will say my backs are not a team strength.
