Early this morning someone offered to me that Braylon Edwards' trade to New York ensures LeBron James won't sign there.
Theory being that the two don't like each other at all.
But the more I think the more I think the opposite would be true. James might prefer playing in New York to kind of/sort of hand it to Edwards. Again. LeBron is that competitive.
The bottom line, though, is that James is nowhere near that small-minded to make a decision on his future based on anything to do with Braylon Edwards.
Oh, come on. Who could be so naive and dumb to believe James cares who plays where? That's some rather desperate homerism, whoever said that.
By the way, Rex Ryan says Edwards will be in the starting lineup this Monday night. Already. That's how valuable they think Edwards can be. Of the dreck that the Browns received and have yet to receive, I'll wager there won't be one starter among the lot.
Nothing like receiving 30 cents on the dollar long before a trade deadline. Too bad Mangini didn't have Pau Gasol to trade, he'd have gotten even less in return than Memphis did.
Or he would have gotten less than his brother-in-law for Cliff Lee.
