In support of the notion that Braylon got what he wanted

by Pat McManamon on October 7, 2009

in Braylon Edwards, Browns, McManamon

From Pete Prisco of CBSports.com, quoting a "league source" and agreeing with my contention that the Browns gave Edwards just what he wanted: "He popped that 130-pound kid and got what he wanted, a ticket out of there."

You mean he created an incident to achieve his long-term goals?! Why, that would be like a country that really wants to invade another, claiming that said country had dangerous weapons and somebody needed to go in and stop them, and…what's that? Oh, really? Never mind…

Pat would you please "pop" the first 130lbs person you see!

Yeah, it takes a real puss, a girlie woman like NFL dud Braid-en Butterfingers Edwards to deck a measly 130-pounder. Like LBJ said, that's like a man beatin' up on a kid. Edwards is as unclassy and unmanly as they come. OH, I can't wait til he starts costing the Jets wins. The NY media will eat him alive.

I'm not saying Edwards was provoked, I don't know what happened. But the plain fact of the matter is this supposed "130-pounder/promoter" is no Mother Teresa. Indeed, he has a criminal record.

"OH, I can't wait til he starts costing the Jets wins. The NY media will eat him alive."

who cares? mangini is costing the browns entire seasons worth of wins right now. then, 4 years from now when mangini finally gets canned terry pluto will matter of factly state all the bad things about mangini after curiously staying silent for his entire tenure.

In fact, why is this numbskull Givens even referred to as a "kid?" This "kid" is older than Edwards.
