JulioFranco

The difference here is the Broncos are a winning franchise with several superbowl appearences and back to back SB wins. The Browns have never accomplished anything worthy. Right now our team is going through a reformation and I don't really expect them to have a stellar season but this is the NFL and you never know what can happen.

You sound seriously clueless about football. Do you look at anything in a logical rational manner or do you just pull stuff out of your ***?

Mike Shanny is gone and needed to be. We've given him much longer then a coach is usually going to get, we had several chances to make it through the playoffs and Mike blew it.

Anyways Rome wasn't built in a day, I will support my team as I always have through the best and worst times.

Wow!

Broncos fans think they have a chance of being a good team this year?

With Kyle Orton? With Brandon "Drop 'em so they trade me" Marshall? With a rookie head coach?

They DO know the Bengals are not the Vikings, or even the Seahawks, don't they?

The name which is missing above, which would legitimately provide them with some expectation of reasonable hopes, is Mike Shanahan. Buh-bye Mike!

Don't Bronco fans understand that the rest of the country views the Broncos much as the Browns are viewed - as not much better than an expansion team?

If you rebuild it, they will come.

Why do the trees lean north in Kentucky? Hell, I don't know. Does it have anything to do with Rick Pitino and morning wood?

Haters from Cincinnati or Cleveland or wherever,

BRONCOS WON. period. You can talk it up any way or say whatever you like. Broncos 1-0 Bengals 0-1. Im not proud of the win. I would of rather seen us win by 14-20 points. But when it comes to Ws ill take them anyway they come. Im sure that if it was Ochocinco catching a tip ball with 28 seconds left and running it in from 87 yards you guys would be sittin there happy as all get out that you won. maybe even proud since you guys won. you win...what? like 6 games average for the past 20 years if its even that good? So suck it up Broncos do what they normally do. win the first game of the year. Bengals continue to lose. Broncos will win next week for their home opener like they normally and the Browns will continue to lose like they normally do esp. to the Broncos i think their overall record against the Broncos is like 5-20? So suck it up and realize Ohio football greatness ends at the College level and Broncos won week 1.

David ... I did not word things properly. I have no problem whatsoever with Broncos folks celebrating. They should celebrate. Their team won. My point was only to show the thin difference between winning and losing, between being 1-0 and 0-1. That's all. My bad.

Well Alan, you must be so, er, uhmn, proud :) I'm just delighted for you.

Hutch - I was going to go into an explanation of the straw man argument, along with perhaps several other of the more common fallacious arguments that are often used, but it seemed to me that it really was just going to lead into a urinary Olympic event that would be met with vulgar and/or childish responses. The bottom line is that their fans are steaming over it, and nothing is going to alter their view that they've been robbed. Heck, after being without Elway for the last 10 years, I'm used to frustration :)

David R, I never check the Broncos fans blogs. I never check any Browns and Bengals fan blogs, either. Just thought it would be funny if I found one with the word "proud" in it. Took me about 8 seconds. Like Steve Martin used to say, comedy is not pretty.
