I know Jim Tressel is feeling the heat for the way Ohio State lost to USC, but this quote from his news conference was an eyebrow-raiser. He referred to those who write nasty e-mails to him.
"When I read some of them I feel terrible for them because there's no way they're happy," he said. "They've got to be some of the most unhappy people in the world, and I feel bad because we just made them less happy, and I hate to be a part of making someone less happy. I mean, they're already miserable."
Does anyone else here think he heard from Alan?

Alan, I must admit, you have grown on me. SOME of your comments make me laugh out loud, but what I like most is when you cannot take any more inane comments from some readers, and actually give your real opinion: we tend to lean the same way.
